Both boys, in their own ways, gain an understand of life and it’s challenges and unknowingly succeed in their rights of passage. The thrilling journey that unfolds coaxes the man out of the boys, bringing them closer together as brothers and forges a friendship that will last a lifetime.

I did not know what to expect with this book Crossing Africa, but it was recommended by our book club. I could not put this book down.
This book had a great story line. About survival , strength, friendship, disaster, death, life, fear of the unknown, trust, hope, faith, truth, love compassion and The Golden Rule It was well written. The author described many of the scenes so beautifully and in so much detail that you felt like you were there.
A must read for any age.

I loved this book. I didn’t want it to end! I liked how there were many inspiring words of wisdom that we should all remember as adults! Is there a sequel? There should be! I’d definitely read it!! Get working on it, if you haven’t already!!!
