Advantages of 2mm Thick Leather
The leather backpack is designed to last long time. Thus, it is crafted of thick leather. The thicker the leather is, the sturdier the bag will be, and the better shape the backpack will hold. Thick leather is not flimsy. Backpacks made of thick leather can protect the items inside the bag better. 
Water-resistant Leather
Able to withstand light rains or water splashing. Note: Due to real leather has high fat content, please make sure the leather backpack is dry when it’s packed up.
How to Test the Leather by Yourself? There’s a sample leather piece hanging on the leather bag to allow you to test.
This black bag is made of leather processed from real cowhide, but it is painted to be black color, which maybe make it look like vinyl. But there are methods to test the authenticity of leather, such like fire burning. If it is vinyl, it will be burn easily and cause plastic smell to left a dark mass glued together. But real leather will be burnt to tiny fine powder finally and cause a smell of burning protein, just like the smell of firing hair.
