Nevertheless, the Cabinet quickly learned how to work around him\u2014and this would eventually bring Japan into World War Two. While Hirohito was initially against joining the Axis, once Japan entered the war, he quickly changed his tune and began goading the military to attack the Allies and invade their lands.
